On 26th and 27th March, the DriveSense team proudly participated in edie 25, the UK's premier sustainable business event, held at the iconic, B Corp-certified Business Design Centre in London. Celebrating its 15th year, edie 25 has become the go-to event for driving real change in corporate sustainability, offering a dynamic mix of expert-led talks, practical masterclasses, outcome-driven workshops, and cutting-edge solutions.
As the first driver training company to exhibit at edie 25, we introduced our innovative Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) to Electric Vehicle (EV) transition training, specifically designed for companies managing fleets. This programme equips businesses with the knowledge and skills necessary to seamlessly integrate EVs into their operations, promoting sustainability and efficiency.
A highlight of our exhibition was our state-of-the-art Driving Simulator which definitely brought out the competitive side of people. Attendees experienced firsthand the nuances of regenerative braking—a key feature in EVs that helps maintain battery power by converting kinetic energy back into stored energy during deceleration. The simulator also demonstrated the distinctive acceleration characteristics of EVs, showcasing the immediate torque delivery that can be unexpectedly brisk for those accustomed to traditional ICE vehicles.
Engaging with sustainability leaders and industry pioneers at edie 25 was an inspiring experience. The event's emphasis on actionable insights and collaborative solutions aligns perfectly with DriveSense's mission to drive the transition towards more sustainable transportation. We are excited to continue forging partnerships that contribute to a greener future.
